PRISMA I & II

PRISMA I & II are sister studies that are being conducted in the US and Canada (PRISMA I) and in Europe and South Africa (PRISMA II). This study compares the antihypertensive efficacy and tolerability as well as the effect on early morning blood pressure of telmisartan with the ACE inhibitor ramipril in patients with mild-to-moderate hypertension using ABPM.
